Progress
- Location: Everett,

I grew up studying ballet but gave up the discipline when I was 14. Over the years as an adult, I have taken many different types of dance classes, and loved those classes- but I never felt like they were enough. I started doing yoga once a week, and did that for a couple of years, but also felt like I wasn't doing enough. I joined a yoga studio near my home three years ago- and started realizing that in order to improve my practice, I needed to make more time for yoga- so I began with a goal of attending 3 classes a week. I quickly realized that I could increase my goal and strive for 3-5 classes a week. I have learned that the more I practice yoga the better I feel and have now made it a normal part of my everyday life, whether it be practicing on my own at home, or attending a class. Practice doesn't need to be perfect, but practice does result in PROGRESS. I know that my yoga practice is a lifelong journey, and I am now enrolled in a 200-hour yoga teacher training, and my intention is to become a yoga instructor in my retirement years. If anyone has seen Ted Lasso--- this line is borrowed from Dani Rojas--- YOGA IS LIFE!! ♥
