Lisa	Cabiles Lisa	Cabiles

Choose Well has motivated me to be an inspiration to others by sharing my passion for running with others, and motivating them to do get active! Lisa Cabiles MARATHONER AND RUNNER Lisa’s passion for running began in high school and has only grown exponentially since. During high school, Lisa ran cross-country and her success led to competing in the State Championship her senior year. Lisa also ran a sub 19 minute 5k during that time. After high school, Lisa attended Seattle Pacific University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In college, Lisa dabbled in a few triathlons in eastern Washington, but her love for running was her calling. Lisa has worked for several major medical hospitals in Seattle. Currently, she works at the Swedish Medical Group as a clinic travel nurse. Her primary responsibilities and focus is in OBGYN and Pediatrics. Her compassion combined with her passion for health, fitness, and running helps to encourage and inspire others to begin their own fitness journeys. In addition, she is always trying to recruit newbies into the running scene. Lisa encourages mothers and their families to be the best version of themselves and inspires a fitness-minded way of life. In 2016 Lisa entered the racing world once again. Her first marathon was the 2016 Seattle Marathon in which she Boston Qualified with a time of 3:34:08. Her long-range goals are to eventually race in all 6 major marathons and to run a marathon in every state. Additionally, Lisa plans to compete in her first Ultra distance race, The Badger Mountain 100 mile Challenge. This is the same city where Lisa’s running career started, namely Richland, WA. Lisa faced many challenges along the way. After going through years of infertility, and becoming extremely ill in which her body rejected almost every food, Lisa is keenly focused on proper nutrition. However, this has not deterred Lisa from pursuing her dreams. Lisa plans to continue to race, enjoy her three beautiful children God has blessed her with, and inspire others to reach their health and fitness goals. Outside of running, Lisa enjoys spending time with her three amazing, highly energetic children. They love swimming, hiking, taking family runs, and spending time at our local YMCA.
