Not All Diets or Exercise Programs Are for Everyone


I've been overweight for a long time and even though I didn't like who I was or how I looked I didn't do anything about it...that is until July of 2018. My daughter got married and even though I bought a nice dress and had my hair done and put on make-up I looked nice. But when I saw the pictures of me, I was appalled at how I looked. It was the kick in the pants that I needed, and 2 weeks after the wedding I started a very strict diet. It's been a little over a year since I started on my new lifestyle and I've lost 70 pounds! I feel great and look pretty darn good now. My husband brags about my weight loss and shows pictures of the new me to his friends and coworkers. He's been my biggest advocate and even helps me to stay on track if I get the urge to cheat. The only thing I can think of to help others change their eating habits and the lifestyle they are living is to find something that will work for them. Not all diets or exercise programs are for everyone. I just happened to find the one that worked for me. Don't give up, keep trying to find the one that will work for you.
