My story begins over a year ago. We are remodeling our backyard. I get messaged by my dad who i haven't really talked to in years. My parents divorced when i was just 3 years old. My dad lives in Florida and works in the laboratory department at Leesburg Regional Hospital. He is now 74 years old, Long story short my mother when they divorced took my dad's baby book. During this time i was going through a gastric sleeve surgery and i have been trying for the last 4 years to lose weight prior with my doctor. Anyways back to my parents story. My mom died of pancreatic cancer in 2015 and had a long use of Metformin. My motivation for losing the weight and doing the weight loss surgery. Last year i was able to return my dad's baby book and went to visit. Trying to heal years of relationship issues with my family and helping my mental well being. During that time my oldest son who has been battling an addiction problems ended up going to California to rehab. Years of counseling and trying to help myself ended up healing the old wounds that effected my life. I can't say enough for the fact that trying to deal with the day to day stresses of life. Its setting those healthy boundaries and knowing what i myself can accept as healthy and not healthy, Today i can say i am down from weighing 260 to 189 pounds and still losing the weight. As one would say the weight as been lifted
