I was challenged by a coworker for a pack your lunch challenge. That has encouraged me to not only bring my lunch but to bring fresh. healthy snacks as well. I've saved money of course by not buying food daily, but I've also saved money because I am not throwing away any foods that would normally go to waste by the end of the work week. I've also been tracking my steps for another challenge a coworker invited me to. At the end of the day when I'm near 10k steps I have been taking my kids for a walk. This is not only great for the exercise but I am getting some extra much needed time away from technology with my kids and teaching them healthier habits! It feels great and I plan to keep implanting new goals that I can stick to week after week!
